In November 1944, thousands of Allied soldiers fought against the German army on the flooded island of Valcheren in the Sea. The lives of the three young people are inextricably linked. A Dutch boy fighting for the Germans, an English glider pilot and a girl from Zealand, who is associated with opposition to his will, are forced to make decisive choices that affect their and others’ freedom.
